Contiguous Boundaries:
Refers to the 48 states of the United States that touch another state. Alaska and Hawaii are not included because their state borders to do not touch another state.
Integrate:
To combine two or more sources of information to address a topic or question.
Manifest Destiny:
A 19th century belief that the United States was believed to have the God-given right to expand into and possess the whole of the North American continent.
Visual:
An illustration, photograph, graphic, diagram or other display used to illustrate or accompany something.
