In school, you are often assigned essays and reports for different classes. You are probably aware that writing is an important skill in school. However, being able to communicate effectively through the written word is a life-long skill. It is a skill needed by college students, employees and employers. A well-written essay is often a requirement for college and employment applications. This video presentation will take you through the steps of writing an informative/explanatory text. Informative/explanatory text is factual and its purpose is to explain or inform the reader about a topic.
